Basically Vista OS X is like Flyakite OS X (well almost) but for Windows Vista. This is an installer which means you check or uncheck things you would like or dislike to install (similar to Flyakite OS X installer).
For those people who are saying, “Is Flyakite OS X compatible with Windows Vista?” or asking the mighty Flyakite creator, “Can you make a Flyakite OS X pack for Windows Vista?”, well then this a transformation pack for you. Remember, this is not a complete pack that will actually change every bit of Windows Vista.
You can use Vista OS X on any language and edition!

I would like to say that I tried this on Vista SP1 and it crashed my system… Could not login at all… And yes it was on a clean install so maybe i did something wrong

if you read the uploader’s description, you’d know it says its not SP1 compatible.
actually it says it DOES support SP1… read first

I to had issue with service pack 1. If you can get to a CMD window, you can navigate to /windows/system32 and type systempropertiesadvanced.exe to get to the system restore program

Nothing interesting. When I use other Vista OS X transformation and iLeopard(InconPackager). It was better…I used this V OS X and didn’t work: boot screen, uninstall, RK launcher, icons(some worked but not much)>>>I used it on Windows Vista Premium 32 without SP1
Just wondering can you make this work for XP cause i want it to look like this but flyakiteOSX doesn’t do that so can you do that or refer me to something that does

I tried the unistaller and it looks like you can’t uninstall this. For everyone who has not made the mistake of installing this, DO NOT INSTALL THIS.

Meh, iffy package indeed! I wouldn’t recommend this myself! I went through 6 hours of trying to get this to work. I installed SP1, installed this, restarted, and all it did was make it Windows Classic theme. I “uninstalled” reinstalled, and didn’t help. I restored my system and got a fatal system error which seemed to resolve itself. I had to restore it multiple times before I could finally get it back to where I was, and had to fix my Firefox among other programs. I restarted my laptop to get another package that did something similar ready to install and bam, this one started working. Flyakite was better for XP (’cept when the software package trial ran out). This one doesn’t put the buttons on the left side, emulates the mouse, and gives you Rk Launcher (I prefer others, but it’s decent enough dock), boot screen doesn’t work, login screen doesn’t work. And overall is a pain in the behind!
