The real purpose of this program is to provide you with a fully funtional Panther splash screen. The splash displays immediately after you have logged in, and it covers up all the “mess” of loading your desktop and all your components. Also, the background behind the splash panel can be set to whatever you want. Program is complete with an easy to use configuration interface and uninstall program.

This is brilliant - I thought before I downloaded it that I might be frustrated having to wait for the progress bar to finish loading before I could use my computer, but in fact I feel much less frustrated than before.

This program is not so good. I have found much better - my found program, named Task Switcher or something like that shows not only the icon, it shows the screen (just smaller) and u can access any program seeing how it looks like, it’s cool - you see, what u are editing in Photoshop CS2 when switching task to it
