Application switcher application based on Mac OS X.
How To Install: Download und unzip the package. Start the file Setup.exe. Drag’n'drop the file MacSwitch.zip onto dialog window (or select it directly). Click “Install” in the next window - the application will installed. Run the shortcut “MacSwitch.lnk”
How To Use: Press Alt+Tab. After short delay (see below) you get the main window of application. Navigate with Alt+Tab, Shift+Alt+Tab or directly click the target icon. You can get the float menu with runned tasks any time by Shift+(Middle maus button click) onto screen. To exit or restart application right click the main window.
To set new label of runned program or to change the assigned icon, right click the target icon and select “Properties of Item”. The PNG and ICO files are supported. The size 128×128 pixels is recommended. Too small or too large pictures will be resized to 128×128 pixels. The 96×96 and 64×64 pixels pictures will be created automatically. If you add many new PNGs with right names (name_of_executable.exe.png) into the folder Images\128 and select “Resize all” from context menu, all new pictures will be correctly resized and will be added into Images\96 and Images\64 folders.
Use additional tags
The MacSwitch shows the main window with short delay - it make two screenshots to full emulation of alpha-blending and transparency. Set SimplyGUI=1 in the file MacSwitch.ini to speeding.
Some notes: If you don’t see the main application window of icons, try to download and copy into main folder the free Microsoft GDI+, To download the DLL, search for the following phrase at www.microsoft.com: gdi redistributable. It is not tested. Be sure that “Write Combining” in your Screen Options is ON.
Added in version 1.1: The MacSwitch was new recoded and shows Simply GUI without any delay and the delay by Fine GUI is much shorter. Find new commands in context menu, such as “Simply GUI”, “Transparency” and “Use Ctrl+Tab”

Excellent but PLEASE speed it up! I wish there was no any delay at all, just the way usual windows switch application work but with a beauty of Mac like icons.

i have a problem when i tried to use this application where when i pressed the alt+tab buttons, the switcher appeared only a few seconds before disappeared again leaving me with no chance to select which application i want…. can anybody please explain why this is happening? and how can i solve the problem? other than that it is awesome
A nice idea, one of the few things left to emulate properly, but really this is too slow for practical use. Look forward to a sped up future version.

It’s a good job. Really it’s like Mac switcher, but I agree with everybody has downloaded the program… it haven’t a really practical use, because when I hit Alt+Tab, the switcher magically dissappears, and sometimes it appears, but is too slow.
Look forward, try to fix the bug’s program to future versions.

does any 1 no were i can find loads of images for the mac switch?
Even the latest version may not catch applications to switch which were launched after the program was launched itself. Launch BsPlayer and try to switch to it:-) You won’t find it on the list.

How do I uninstall it?
Same question. I tried to uninstall and I know have a folder on my desktop that cannot be moved. I get the error message and that it’s being used by another user or program. Please help.
i really really like this… just hope it was a little faster.. will be looking forward for faster versions in future..
