Comment by R on 2008-03-02 21:20:44

Not Work !!!

Too far from the real expose

Comment by devrexster on 2008-03-02 22:47:48

Hi, this is the developer and once again surprised to find one of my apps listed here

I am confirming there is no “virus”
the “Basic.exe” does what it says
“Initializer for DExposE2″

just have a look here:

if there was a “virus” in it I would have been criticised like maaaaaad

this “sk” is perhaps the same person who reported this first here:

No need to panic. :)

hi, this is the developer and I am pleasantly surprised to see my app here

just have a look here to track the development of this app

if there was a virus in it , I would have been criticised like maaaad.

for proper installation just go through the Readme file in it

And the “Basic.exe” does only what it says
“Initializer for DExposE2″

so no need to panic I am not a crook !

whether or not it was intentionally
their is a trojan horse inbeded in the software code
i would suggest not using this until it is removed

Comment by devrexster on 2008-03-03 02:02:36

People are after me or what ?!

how can a silly trojan get INTO the code
if it was not I who wrote it!

I am reacting this way coz it is a seeeeerious allegation to make against me :(

it ofcourse stores some settings in the registry but every software u install does that !

if u dont like it its o.k but plz dont say i wrote a virus

Comment by powersurge00 on 2008-03-03 06:17:28

ummm any good anti-virus progrmas can pick up the fact that their is indeed a virus in their
people arn’t trying to knock on your program
but it does have a virus

Comment by devrexster on 2008-03-05 11:46:02

Its only on avg that i gets reported!

For avg users:
Have u ever looked into the about dialog for avg( or for that matter f-secure or zonealarm etc.)

u will see these av’s use scanner engine from kaspersky labs
this app has been developed in an environment having kaspersky internet security suite full
( as can be seen from the screenshot itself )
its not for nothing that it is the costliest av around .
Move onto the real innovators dont stay with the borrowers.

And i am saying this for ur safety only , not for the idiots whose lack of knowledge
gets them to say things when they see other people doing what they couldn’t

Comment by powersurge00 on 2008-03-05 10:57:08

thats weird cause alot of other inlcuding mine found one
the point is the danger does excist

Comment by Ojalord on 2008-03-05 21:37:07

There is no goddamn virus. i will vouch for it. AVG is practically famous for the number of false alarms it raises, just google “svg false positive” and find out for yourself. This is a very nice app with great potential by a great developer, please do not use FUD tactics to hurt that rep.

Comment by Ojalord on 2008-03-06 00:58:38

Those who still aren’t convinced, take a look here:

The only ones that give a positive are AVG and Panda and Sunbelt, which are bitches for false positive. And eSafe, which doesn’t seem any better. All the others, including Bitdefender, nod32 and kaspersky which are the top rated avs, show the file as clean.

Comment by devrexster on 2008-03-06 02:10:31

Exactly my point . Thanks!

Nice work, devresxster,

But Have you tried multiscreen with it?
It flickers continuously when you expose the windows.

Please fix it I am looking forward to next bug fix.

Comment by devrexster on 2008-03-09 14:47:13

Further developmets will only be on Aquasoft (i.e if I get enough support :) )

there is already a newer version and another one is just round the corner.
major changes u will see in the pending version are:-

Taskbar, sidebars, docks are shown in exposed mode
So basically it is the windows which get moved about without
disturbing anything else.

Also no overlay over the wallpaper is used in current
version. Yes I decided to remove that. Will be customizable
when I do a settings dialogue.

I will be releasing the new version in few days.
Any suggestions to change or add anything ?

There was another Exposé clone that WAS infected (Winexplosion???) - this is NOT it. Works fine here and is a keeper. Thanks!
