Stop iTunes from skipping

To completely stop skipping in iTunes, follow these steps:
1. Close iTunes
2. Open your Control Panel, click on Quicktime
3. Select Sound Out.
4. Change it from DirectSound to waveOut.
Note: you can also click on options and increase the buffering time, the higher you set it the less likely it will ever skip again.
