Hey, Alang. It's been a while since I've been on.

I just wanted you to know of a little trick I've picked up for putting Widgets on your Desktop.

1) Open Terminal (the app that looks like a screen with a few symbols)
2) Copy-and-paste this into the Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES

to reverse this, simply type NO instead of YES.
3) once you've pressed enter after that, type this EXACTLY:

killall Dock

This will close your dock for a bit. It WILL come back up.
4) Open Dashboard (or press F12) and click and hold on the widget that you want on your desktop. Press F12 again as you hold on to your widget. It should go onto your Desktop once you let go.

This worked on Tiger. I haven't tried it out since I've only been on a Windows PC and haven't even SEEN Leopard in action. It should still work on Leopard, though. Apple almost never goes back on their designs... Well, except for their eMac design, but that was hardware.

Anyway, I hope this worked for you.

I know about expose but thank you on the command q to close an app tip. Remember, I'm just using mac for one week and what I wrote here is my opinion based on that.

Congratulations for your new Mac... i hope one day have one.

Thanks for this page, is really awesome :D, all the utilities here are very useful, my PC is more efficient with the utilities and more beautiful :D. I'm thinking now the difference between the XP look and the given with Flyakite, there's no way to choose XP look.

All I've learned a lot with this page... i'm really happy (and my PC) with all I've download and read here. Thanks for the great things that you have made with this page :)

I get here from www.crystalxp.net. When i was crazy with Vista. With this page, I discover the graphics and functionalities from the mac and Apple world.... without this page, maybe that wasn't possible for me.

My Grandpa has one iMac, from approx. 97... it has OS 9... he works with my PC 'cause I've internet... and when he saw the effects of Flyakite on the desktop and UI, he went crazy xD

Anyhow, I really appreciate the mission of this page. Thanks again.

And I'm impatiently to see the new features uploaded here with your new Mac.

Finally, I hope that my English is readable xP

Bye!
