Mac Clone Company Deposing Apple Employees

Psystar reported that its lawyers have begun depsoing executives at Apple in relation to the copyright infringement lawsuit filed against Psystar by Apple.  Psystar is a maker of Mac clones that will run Apple’s OS X software, but sell at a much lower price than a Mac.  Apple claims that OS X can only be installed or sold on a computer from Apple, which Psystar contests.  With Psystar in bankruptcy, it is unlikely that the outcome of this trial will have any impact on consumers who like OS X but are looking for an alternative to Apple.
