Emulation Manuals - Chapter 6: The Dashboard

author alang

Dashboard is the new Tiger app that provides quick access to widgets: mini-applications that let you perform common tasks and provide you with fast access to information. With a single click, Dashboard appears, complete with these widgets that provide a world of information — real-time weather, stock tickers, flight information and more — instantly. Dashboard disappears just as easily, so you can get back to what you were doing. Interestingly enough, the following applications all preceded Dashboard, some by over a year.

How would I make the icon on the dock open up the Heads Up Display on Konfabulator?

Yeah John is right, how would I do that and how would I get the Dashboard icon in my current dock?

The icon’s easy to get, but I still have no idea on how to open up the heads up display. I use Avedesk now because it’s better than konfabulator.
