There is a free update for existing users of WindowBlinds available. The most notable feature is the addition of the Explorer Background feature which allows you to apply a background, and adjust the opacity of the Explorer background. Other additions include various performance tweaks and enhancements.
The Explorer Background feature allows users to change the background of their explorer, along with the background color and opacity. There are 30 different background textures to choose from, including a “no texture” option that lets you set just the color and transparency of the Explorer background. WindowBlinds has a free download available for evaluation, and is $19.95 for the full enhanced version. WindowBlinds is also part of the Object Desktop suite of desktop enhancements.

I don’t know if this theme will work for those without the original msstyle and shell file, but here’s hoping.
It is a modified style originally created by “johnny”. I changed the apple to a window, taken from ~kol’s tiger theme, as well as some colours.
The menu style in the windows is integrated and won’t load in the theme. The desktop image is not included.

Leopard uses the flat grey used in all their Gui apps (not the horizontal stripes) and as those of you working on a Mac also know, the logon thoughtfully displays your name under the MAC OS X text above the input box.
This is a simple and basic mod to meet a small demand. I have not repositioned the “restart’ button. The “restart” button still exists (and works) at the bottom, in the middle - but its invisible. The two buttons seen at the bottom, are decorative and non-functional. The rest is identical to the existing “Tiger” versions.
